For over 40 years, the Écomusée de la Bresse has been a place of conservation and transmission of all the cultures of the Bresse region. It is a friendly place offering residents an understanding of their environment and rural life. It is also a tool taking part in the transformation of the territory through the implementation of numerous cultural activities and its participation in tourism development.
Through its missions, the Ecomuseum defends values that you certainly share:

Individual membership
Your membership entitles you to benefits:
- Free admission to all sites in the Écomusée network (according to current opening hours) and reduced rates apply to your accompanying friends.
- Free admission to concerts, theater performances and entertainment at the tea room at the Château de Pierre-de-Bresse.
- A special rate of €4 is applied to “Family” workshops at all our sites.
- A special rate of €10 applies to guided tours and evening tours in the summer.
- A 5% discount is available on rentals of the group accommodation at the Château de Pierre-de-Bresse and the network’s shops.
Tax deductibility:
Thanks to its status as a recognized association of public utility (ARUP), the Écomusée de la Bresse bourguignonne allows you to benefit from a tax deduction of 66% of the amount paid on your membership (within the authorized legal limit of 20% of your taxable income). You will receive a receipt to this effect which must be kept to prove the reality of the donation in the event of a request from the administration.

Supporting the Ecomuseum annually means choosing to:

Tax deductibility:
Thanks to its status as a recognized public utility association (ARUP), the Écomusée de la Bresse bourguignonne allows you to benefit from a tax credit of 60% of the amount paid on your membership (within the authorized legal limit of €20,000 or 5 per thousand of your turnover when the amount paid exceeds €20,000).
Become a patron for specific actions:
You can also support specific actions of the Ecomuseum to:
- the implementation of cultural, educational and social actions aimed at various audiences
- the enrichment of the collections, witnesses to the history of our territory
- the restoration of works or objects
- the creation of exhibitions,
